Nursing assistants and home health aides are the backbone to providing care in facilities and in clients’ homes under the supervision of nurses. The roles and responsibilities currently includes duties such as feeding, bathing, grooming, transferring from bed to chair, maintaining a clean environment and providing the client emotional support.
Advanced Career Training, LLC (ACT) has been providing classes since 2009 to students in Michigan and Ohio. ACT was purchased from the previous owner in January 2020 by two Registered Nurses (RN’s). Future developments for ACT include the addition of an LPN program.

The CNA classes are planned and taught by highly experienced Registered Nurses. These instructors have combined experience in all of the settings CNAs are hired to work in. Instructors are greatly motivated to provide students with the tools they will need to succeed.

We also offer adult and pediatric CPR with AED class, included in tuition and to the public for a $90 fee. COVID-19 state protocols are observed, always.
Tuition for the Certified Nursing Assistant is $1530 and includes application fee, textbook, supplies, uniform, school patch, CPR and HIPAA certificates, resume and job placement assistance.
This is a three-week program.
Advanced Career Training is a licensed proprietary school and an approved training provider for Michigan Works and Michigan Rehabilitation Services.
You will be trained by a professional staff certified by the Red Cross. Our staff are Registered Nurses with decades of experience who apply up-to-date training methods for you to learn to use state-of-the-art technology and the best practices of nursing.
Flexible program. Our nurse assistant program consists of three-weeks of training courses scheduled during the week with clinical visits where you can apply your training in a real-life situation.
Certified Nursing Assistants can make on average $16 up to $30 an hour depending on years of knowledge, experience and the demand for certified nursing assistants.
Our training session equips you with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform exceptionally in clinical environments and to provide the care that patients need.
Tuition for the Certified Nursing Assistant is $1500 and includes textbook, supplies, uniform, school patch, CPR and HIPAA certificates, resume and job placement assistance. There is also a $30 nonrefundable application fee.
