The Application Process

Our application process is simple and fast. You can review and fill out the ACT Enrollment Application by clicking here.  There is also a $30 nonrefundable application fee.  It will include the agreement for the program as well.

2. Pay Tuition

Tuition is $1500 and includes textbook, supplies, uniform, school patch, state testing fees, CPR and HIPAA certificates, TB skin test, resume and job placement assistance. BLS CPR with AED class, included in tuition and to the public for $90 fee.

3. Complete Program

Nursing assistant classes are three weeks duration during the weekdays starting at 9am. Clinicals are scheduled during the week at 7am. Students must attend all classes and clinicals to achieve the state of Michigan required hours for completion.

4. Receive Certification

Graduation alone does not make one a Certified Evaluated Nursing Assistant (CENA). Graduates must pass a certification exam that consists of skills assessments, along with a written test to receive a certificate from Prometric. Prometric is the nursing assistant testing authority approved by the state of Michigan.
